THE NEWS FLASH BOX

To All Maldon & Dengie Ramblers

It is with great regret that I have to inform you that Ed Hazard has resigned as Chair of the Maldon & Dengie Ramblers.

This is with immediate effect. Ed is very sorry for having to take this action and apologises for any inconvenience. I am sure you will agree that Ed has brought much to the group and I would hope to see him walking with us again in the not too distant future.

So what does this mean, well the immediate impact is that the walks scheduled for Sunday 6th September, Saturday 12th September and Saturday 17th October are cancelled.

I will lead Ed's walk on 4th October.

Any takers for Sunday 15th November?

The committee will be meeting in the near future and will keep you informed of any developments.

The AGM is still scheduled for Monday 19th October though the venue may change (I have been informed by several people that the Blue Boar is currently boarded up)!

If anyone would like to know more about joining the committee or to make nominations for the Chair please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the other committee members.

Regards & Best Wishes,

Jackie (vice-chair)
